Green Deck Engineering Limited was established to design, construct, install marinas and yacht berthing facilities across the region. Our core services provided are:
Our design and construction flexibility allows us to cater to the unique requirements of each marina, considering its location and usage. All our design and construction projects adhere to International Marina Design Standards and construction regulations.
The foundation of the GreenDeck system lies in a precast concrete encased foam pontoon, which boasts exceptional strength and stability. These pontoons are securely fastened using timber waling and berthing piles, enabling the system to rise and fall with the tide. Complementing this is a robust mooring cleat system and durable fender strips, ensuring the system’s user-friendliness and low maintenance.
All berths can be equipped with potable water, electrical, and telecommunication supplies. Attractive and durable Services Pedestals provide all services. Fire services systems are in place to comply with local authority regulations.
The GreenDeck system is a proven product approved by the Hong Kong Buildings Department, Water Authority, Fire Services Department and Electricity Companies.
RHKYC required a new marina with a walk-on pontoon system to accommodate 45 yachts ranging from 15 to 25 meters in length. Andy Lam, director of GreenDeck, was appointed to design the master layout plan, which included a new transformer room, an underground plumbing system, and an aluminum gangway supported by a specially designed floating pontoon. The layout, piling, pontoon system structure, and utility supplies were submitted and approved by the Buildings Department and the Utility Authorities. Turn-key construction and the completion of the pontoon marina followed.

The berthing piles at the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club had deteriorated, and we were tasked with cutting them off and welding new sections of piles underwater to replace them. Concrete infill sections were installed inside the UC sections to strengthen the new piles. Cathodic protection was also installed for all piles.
